Best Time of Year to Buy a Hot Tub

If you are interested in buying a hot tub, you must have thought about which is the best time of the year to buy a hot tub. Well, anyone starting into hot tubs as a hobby and a way of life always ponder this question, but the answer is not simple as there are various factors to take into consideration before putting your money down to buy a hot tub.

Just like any other big purchase, you can benefit a lot by doing your research and planning in advance before buying a hot tub. There are certain times in the year when you can buy a hot tub at discounted prices, and if you keep a lookout for deals and discounts, you can save money and get the hot tub of your choice without making a dent in your budget.

First of all, you need to be aware of the use case for the hot tub. Whether you are going to use the hot tub every day of the winter season or you are going to use it occasionally for a soak when you are feeling tired. If you want to buy a hot tub for medical or therapeutic reasons, you will need to look for hot tubs with specific features like additional bubble jets and softer seats. If you want to use your hot tub for gatherings and parties, you should look for a hot tub with built-in lights and music system.

1) The Months of Fall to Winter Are Best Time to Buy a Hot Tub

Ideally, if you are looking to save money on buying a hot tub, you should look for a hot tub from fall end to beginning of winter months. During this time, the dealers are looking to sell the stock of their inventory quickly to make way for newer models. What’s more, you can get discounted prices for the same models that were selling for full price last year. While the newer models are full of new features, the models from previous years also have the features that will make your hot tub experience wonderful.

Another reason why this time is best for buying a hot tub is that most stores want to empty their stock, which also includes models that were on display or demo models that they could not sell earlier. If you can get your hands on these models of hot tubs, you can get them at a much lower price than a new hot tub.

2) Stores offer Great Deals on Hot Tubs in Summer Season

Hot tubs are not only good for hot soaks, but you can also chill in an unheated hot tub as well. Summer is a great season for spending time outdoors, and you can spend time in your small hot tub instead of wading into a pool. As this is not the prime season for selling hot tubs, you can easily get hot tubs at discounted prices from online shops or from a local dealership. You can also look for summer season discounts if there are any available.

3) Special Events Are A Great Time to Buy a Hot Tub

There are several special events and occasions through the year when you can get a great deal on hot tubs. Many dealerships and hot tub sellers offer their products on sale during certain times of the year when they sell hot tubs and accessories at massive discounts.

Keep an eye out for such special event deals such as on Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Vetern’s Day, new store openings, military day and more. You can also check out the social media pages of the stores in your area to know about the latest deals and discounts on hot tubs.

Conclusion

To sum up, while the discounts and offers can be availed through the year, the final decision to buy a hot tub relies on your requirements, budget, and your intended usage from the hot tub. If you can wait for the right time to buy a hot tub, you can get a great deal for sure.

Richard, get right to the point, need a hot tub for myself and my wife, mostly therapeutic. So many tubs, so many options. Looking at 6 person size, of course we have friends and family. Live in upper lower mi, cold, need a quality unit that deals well with the cold and snow with a customer service team that you can count on, I’ve been reading a lot of bad stories about service. We really don’t need a lot of bells and whistles, they are nice but most IMportant is the relief from a soak. Can you share your thoughts please and thank you
